Stamping with Vegetables

I cut the end off my celery bunch yesterday 

and look what I saw


A Rose!

So I did some stamping on some brown paper and some white cartridge paper.  




A celery rose. How easy was that. 
 I might squirrel away the brown paper for future use in a collage painting.
And I may start looking at vegetables in a whole new light!

    I can't believe how 'rose-like' the prints are. You're right about now looking at vegetables in a new light. Who would have thought?

    I reckon it would look good printed on sheer material and used for curtains or on cushions. Break out the salad haha

    Whoa!!! That is cool! And cheap! Love it. I bet Chloe could do this with the kids at school, even. What a good way to use vegetables in two different ways!
